Introduction

  • The story begins in 2006 in London, UK.

The Author of the sculpture Nikola Kostadinov, being away from his homeland had a vision.

In 2012 a small copy of the sculpture was delivered to The Mayor of the City of Plovdiv, which then participated in the process of choosing an European capital of culture in 2019.

In 2014 Plovdiv was chosen to represent Bulgaria as an European Capital of culture 2019.
